"life is good" It's there you have to just watch the ejection, not his shooting. Hickock makes no mention of the weak ejection. You can hear the spent brass hitting his reloading table on this older vid. Then i dug up an old Glock 21 youtube of his (gen1,2, or3 idon't know what gen it is) and you see that that 21 ejects 8 feet to the right. If you watch Hickock45 on his new youtube on the gen4 21's parts #1 & #2 and watch the ejection (not shooting the gong, pig, or soda bottles just watch the ejection) you will see him get hit in the face and head. No green piece, i see metal on right side behind exjector No chip that these old eyes can see on extractorĥ. I am 58 with old eyes and hands i will check points 2,3,4, & 5.Ĥ. There are good instructions for dismantling the gun if necessary, so don't worry about having to tack it back any time soon.īought brand new Glock Blue Label pistol From CPD Glock supplier. Let me (us) know the answers and we can begin. If you don't see a metal piece there, and instead you see an olive green plastic part, then the extractor depressor plunger is installed backwards, and that could cause the problem. Looking at the right side of the slide you should see a round metal piece pushing the back of the extractor.

Pretty rare on Glocks, especially new ones, but who knows.ĥ. With the gun field-stripped, examine the extractor for any defect: a chip, which may be hard to see with the slide on the gun, could possibly be a problem. The Recoil Spring Assembly should be marked 0-7-2 on the thin flat round end piece.Ĥ. The ejector is the thin piece of metal in the trigger mechanism housing that points forward with a "kink" and a point on it, should be easy to find.ģ. You should be able to see the marking on the right side of the ejector if you field-strip the pistol. Did you buy the gun new, or was it used? My reason for asking is that someone may have swapped out some parts.Ģ. The ejection pattern does not sound normal, but allow me to start with a couple of questions before the guessing begins:ġ.
